Jiran
Jiran is two best friends, Sree and Zoey, throwing the kind of supper club where the menu makes you grin before you taste anything: salted egg yolk crisps called Yolk's On You, chicken laab called Laab Of My Life, banana pudding with pandan sangkaya filed under Shrek's Banana. The food is serious even when the names are not, the evenings run at partner venues like Kenrick's Wines with a paired wine flight, and this season's suppers sold out.
Young, loud and giddy in the best way: garden parties and wine-shop takeovers, two hosts in aprons running the room, and a crowd that photographs the food and then demands the next date in the comments.
